We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate all phases of construction.
- Oversee daily site activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams through effective project coordination and communication.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of design intent.
- Utilize construction estimating tools and HeavyBid to prepare cost estimates and monitor financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate documentation including change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), progress reports, and daily logs.
- Conduct regular site inspections using Civil 3D or similar tools to verify work quality and progress.
- Implement construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for real-time project tracking and collaboration.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment while managing project schedules with Primavera P6 or Primavera software.
- Foster a culture of safety by conducting site audits, safety meetings, and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in heavy civil or commercial projects.
- Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
- Solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and construction estimating processes.
- Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, cost control, contract administration, and project coordination.
- Hands-on construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and quality assurance.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
