Military Operations Analyst - Mid (OCSMD) with Security Clearance

Overview Introduction:Mano Lani has an opening for a Military Operations Analyst to support the United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC), Space and Missile Defense (SDM) Center of Excellence (SMDCoE) also known as the US SMD School. SMD School (SMDS) core functions include: 1) Educate, train, and develop leaders for Space and Missile Defense operations; 2) Develop Army Doctrine for Space, High Altitude, and Global Missile Defense; 3) Develop individual and collective training tasks for Space and Missile Defense operations; 4) Train and educate the Army at large in Space and Missile Defense; and 5) Execute the US Army's Quality Assurance Program to ensure standards are met in the education, training, and leadership development of Soldiers and Civilians. This position will provide support to the Office of the Chief of Space and Missile Defense (OCSMD) Space Cadre Recognition Programs support efforts. Responsibilities:

• Manage the space badge and space operations-related skill identifier programs for military personnel.
• Manage the civilian space cadre recognition program.
• Supports the execution of the life-cycle management functions of the Army Space Cadre.
• Provide briefs on the recognition-related programs and processes.
• Provide inputs for updates and changes to applicable procedural guides and military occupational classification structure proposals.
• Assist in planning, development, and execution of the annual Space Operations Training Forum.
• Travel to conduct training as required. Requirements Requirements:
• 5 years of related military experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 programs including: Excel (pivot tables, formulas, functions, and data visualization), Teams, SharePoint Online, Power Automate).
• Strong administrative, records management, and knowledge management skills.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, comfortable speaking in front of large groups (online and in person).
• Familiarity with Army career progression for officers and enlisted soldiers.
• Ability to brief higher ranking officials.
• Understand the MDMP / JPP process.
• Ability to travel as required. Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Army Space Operations.
• Experience and understanding of personnel requirements in the Army Space Operations.
• Experience with the IPSSA system.
• Basic project management experience (requirement development, task prioritization, scheduling).
• Familiarity with Army Space organizations.
• Experience on Service or Joint staffs.
• Experience with SharePoint management and administration.
• Experience with Military Event Coordination, e.g., training events or conferences. Security: Requires the applicant to possess and maintain an active Secret clearance for the position and be eligible for a Top Secret/SCI clearance if required.
