Game and Beverage Concierge

Join the Galactix crew on an interstellar voyage like no other. We are looking to add a floating / flex schedule crew member (age 21 ). This position will support for our various private parties, staff vacations and may possibly grow into a weekly shift.

This individual will be speaking with and serving passengers who are passionate about craft beverages, arcade and pinball gaming, and all things synthwave, vaporwave and future’s past.

The ideal candidate will embrace the Galactix brand and stand proud behind your unique role in creating an engaging, exciting and safe space for patrons. Responsibilities:
* Be the face of Galactix, as an official Galactix Crewmember; you are often the first impression for our passengers
* Assist passengers with craft beverage selection by sharing your knowledge of beverage styles
* Assist passengers in the adoption of the mobile app for arcade and pinball game payment
* Serve a wide variety of cider, beer and soda, encouraging passengers to grow their relationship with craft beverage sampling
* Confidently educate passengers on the incredible beverages we serve, as well as the amazing game selection
* Serve essential Galactix food items and ensure that dishes are collected, cleaned and properly stocked
* Swap-out kegs and soda as needed
* Create a friendly, thematic experience that leaves our guests feeling like they are part of something truly special and looking forward to their next visit

Requirements:
* Must be a minimum of 21 years of age for this crewmember role
* You must be enthusiastic about craft beverages and the Galactix gaming experience, with a desire to expand your knowledge of both
* Accurately fulfill all customer orders
* Ensuring maximum facility cleanliness per cleaning guidelines
* Multitasking during busy times while spending down time proactively
* Update our beverage menu as needed during shifts
* Work individually and as a team member
* Work full shifts on your feet and safely lift kegs (5.2, 13.2 and 15 gallon sizes)
* Be able to work in hot or cold warehouse-type temperatures
* At least one year of customer service experience; taproom or bar experience preferred but not required
* Adhere to the Galactix core values and serve as a representative of Galactix
* OLCC and Food Handler Card Required. Be committed to 100% compliance with all local, State and Federal laws
* Compensation: $17 per hour pooled credit card tips (currently averaging more than $4/hour) Cash tips accrued during your shift are 100% yours.
