NIST is seeking Facility Operations Managers to oversee the operation, maintenance, and sustainment of facilities and infrastructure supporting mission-critical research activities across NIST campuses. This role leads complex facility operations, coordinates with federal, state, local, and utility partners, and ensures buildings, utilities, and site systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently in support of sensitive scientific environments.

- Oversee the work of facility and trades staff supporting building systems, utilities, preventative maintenance, repairs, and operational projects.
- Manage utility and infrastructure systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient campus operations.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level (ZA-III at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience supervising and performing administrative and facilities support activities involving overseeing construction management; assigning duties to subordinates; maintenance operations and contract/ project management; and coordinating with customers for maintenance related activities and repairs.AND
