We are currently seeking a Custom Cabinet Maker with experience in architectural millwork to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about woodworking, detail-oriented, and skilled in producing high-quality custom cabinetry from shop drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate custom cabinets, and specialty millwork components according to detailed shop drawings and specifications.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools with precision and care.
- Laminate, edge-band, and assemble parts using dowels, screws, glue, and fasteners.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure fit, finish, and craftsmanship meet company standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and installers to solve fabrication challenges.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
- 3 years of experience in architectural millwork or custom cabinetmaking.
- Strong knowledge of wood species, laminates, veneers, and cabinet hardware.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Skilled in the use of standard woodworking tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with AWI standards.
