What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Shift CNC Machinist position at Gaishin Manufacturing Inc?
Our Night Shift works Monday - Thursday from 2:00 pm to 12:00 am. There is a 10% premium paid on this shift! We are looking for candidates that are looking for a long-term career at a company that values and supports their employees.
What we are looking for:
- Self-motivated individual with strong leadership skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and awesome communication & interpersonal skills.
- Dependable individual with an excellent work ethic and the ability to stand/walk during the entire shift.
- Must be willing to learn have ability to be coached.
- Previous Swiss Style and/or Mill/Turn Style lathe operation preferred.
- Min. 2 years of any CNC operation
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools, calipers and micrometers, etc.
- Understanding of production procedures.
- Experience in geometric tolerancing along with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals as well as GD&T.
Job Summary:
A successful machinist/operator within our organization will accurately and efficiently use multi-axis CNC machines to produce quality parts, troubleshoot, set-up or process issues quickly, maintain equipment, and keep all production areas clean and organized.
