About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Production Equipment Support Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-speed production and mailing equipment. In this role, you will perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure maximum machinery reliability, minimize downtime, and support our high-volume production environment.
Available Shifts (Please specify preference)
- Day Shift: Mon–Fri, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Off-Peak) | 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Peak Seasons)
- Evening Shift: Mon–Fri, 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM (Off-Peak) | 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM (Peak Seasons)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on high-speed production and insertion equipment.
- Respond promptly to technical support calls on the production floor to resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Log all work orders, repair time, and parts utilization accurately into the tracking system (e.g., FIIX).
- Install and troubleshoot electrical wiring, controls, and computer hardware related to production machinery.
- Maintain rigorous compliance with maintenance records, safety protocols, and OSHA/EPA regulations.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing machinery within a high-speed production or manufacturing environment.
- Proven proficiency in mechanical repairs, electrical wiring, and basic computer hardware troubleshooting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical, vocational, or trade school education is highly preferred.
- Experience with high-speed insertion platforms (e.g., Blue Crest, Pitney Bowes, Bowe, Buhrs) or vendor repair certifications is a major plus.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including mandatory 12-hour shifts during peak production seasons.
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
