Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:
The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance duties to ensure the efficient operation and safety of warehouse facilities and equipment. This position requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various building systems and machinery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts and related material handling systems.

• Conduct general building repairs such as plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and structural maintenance.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and on-call service needs to minimize operational disruptions.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment repairs.

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies at all times.

• Collaborate with operations and safety personnel to identify and address maintenance priorities.

• Participate in the on-call rotation and work overtime as necessary to support facility needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience with forklift repair and maintenance strongly preferred.

• Ammonia refrigeration experience is a plus, or willingness to learn through on-the-job training.

• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently or as part of a team.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

• Must be available for overtime and on-call assignments as required.
