Tow Truck Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and mechanical knowledge, ensuring safe and efficient towing services. This role requires the ability to operate various types of tow trucks, including flatbeds, while providing excellent service to our customers in need.

Duties

• Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and conventional models, to safely transport vehicles.
• Respond promptly to towing requests and provide roadside assistance as needed.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the tow truck to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate effectively with dispatch.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
• Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by performing basic maintenance on the tow truck.
• Drive safely in various weather conditions while adhering to all traffic laws.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
• Mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive diagnostics and repair are highly desirable.
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Must live within 20 minutes from garage

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
