Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead complex projects across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a proven track record in managing project lifecycle from initiation to closure. This role requires expertise in project management methodologies, risk management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful project delivery aligned with organizational goals. The Project Manager will oversee project portfolio management, coordinate cross-functional teams, and utilize advanced project management tools to optimize processes and outcomes.

Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects utilizing methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe.
• Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation using tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and perform requirements analysis to define project scope and objectives clearly.
• Conduct risk assessments and root cause analysis to proactively identify issues and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure adherence to financial constraints through effective cost control measures.
• Oversee program development and program management activities within the project portfolio.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders through vendor management practices to ensure quality deliverables.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma principles, Kaizen techniques, and process mapping for continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilize project management software such as Jira, Trello, Confluence, Workday, or ServiceNow for task tracking and collaboration.
• Facilitate meetings effectively to ensure clear communication among team members and stakeholders.
• Manage scope changes using scope management techniques aligned with PMBOK standards.
• Lead project engineering efforts and oversee product development lifecycles where applicable.
• Prepare technical documentation including reports, presentations, and process documentation for various audiences.

Requirements

• Proven experience supervising teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, Scrum (SAFe), Kanban, Lean Six Sigma, and program management frameworks.
• Expertise in project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Primavera P6; familiarity with PPM tools like VersionOne or Project Server is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing time efficiently across multiple projects.
• Demonstrated leadership in project portfolio management with a focus on scope management and risk mitigation strategies.
• Proficiency in data analysis skills for performance measurement using SAS or other analytics platforms; experience with data collection is preferred.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement, negotiation, conflict management, and technical writing.
• Ability to facilitate meetings effectively using tools like SharePoint or Confluence; experience with IT infrastructure projects is advantageous.
• Familiarity with vendor management processes and contract negotiations.
• Knowledge of IT project management practices including ERP systems integration or content management systems is desirable.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PMI-PMP or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory. Pay: $70,425.09 - $85,995.80 per year
