Job Description
Gain America is hiring Senior .NET Developers to support enterprise-scale New York State and Federal government IT systems. These roles are ideal for developers with strong experience building, enhancing, and maintaining mission-critical applications in regulated government environments.
You will work on large-scale systems that support public services, modernization initiatives, and system integrations.
Qualifications
- Proven 8 experience as a .NET Developer with strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET
, MVC architecture, WCF services, and Web API development. - Hands-on expertise in front-end development using React.js, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3, Bootstrap for responsive UI design.
- Solid understanding of database design principles; proficient in SQL T-SQL programming for Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL; familiar with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, XML/JSON data formats for integration purposes.
- Strong grasp of software development methodologies including Agile/Scrum; familiarity with SDLC tools like TFS or Jira.
- Excellent debugging skills using Visual Studio; experience with version control systems such as GitHub or SVN is essential.
