About This Position

We are seeking a qualified Project Engineer with 8-15 years’ experience to become a part of our growing Highway Design Group for our Albany, Syracuse, and White Plains offices. Our highway engineers work on a variety of projects and interact with traffic engineers, structure engineers and our construction inspection staff

Engineer IV plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in part of a major project or in total project of a moderate scope. Perform work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features. Typical projects include long-range transportation planning, traffic impact studies, site planning and design, highway and traffic signal design, transit planning and design, and bridge design. The Engineer IV level often requires efforts outside normal business hours to meet client requests and/or attend meet

Job Requ

• irements
  Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program or an approved equivalent. Professional Engineering (P.E.) licensure
• required.4 years of experience in a similar engineering role
• required.Proficiency with Microstation, Inroads and
• AutoTurn.Working knowledge of the NYSDOT Highway Desig
• n Manual.Active member of a professional practice orga

nization.

Pay Range
Albany, NY, Syracuse, NY: $44/hour

– $60/hour
Westchester – White Plains, NY: $47/hou

r – $69/hour
Pay is based on applicant’s ability/experience and will be rated
