Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with enthusiasm and professionalism, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive
• Manage restaurant reservation systems efficiently, including booking, modifying, and confirming reservations using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Seat guests at appropriate tables based on availability and guest preferences, maintaining an organized flow of seating arrangements
• Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing information about wait times or reservations as needed
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service flow
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, including menus and reservation logs
• Handle guest inquiries or concerns with excellent communication skills, ensuring guest relations are positive and memorable

Experience

• Prior experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred
• Demonstrated food service experience with knowledge of restaurant operations and guest services
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with professional phone etiquette
• Basic math skills for managing waitlists and table counts accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to enhance guest experiences

Pay: $7.25 - $22.00 per hour
