Hours (this is a year round position):
- Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:30 am to 5:15 pm (hours may vary).
- Position will average 20 - 30 hours per week
Primary job duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Assist the Lead Infant Teacher in providing high-quality care and early education to infants.
- Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, and nap times.
- Engage with infants through play, language development, and sensory activities.
- Monitor and record developmental milestones and daily activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for infants.
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members regarding children's progress and daily activities.
- Other related duties
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; CDA (Child Development Associate) preferred.
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or childcare setting is advantageous.
- Passion for early childhood education and a nurturing demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Staff can expect to lift, carry, turn, bend, and be very physically active.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
