What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Back Counter (11am to 8pm) position at Gabrielli Truck Sales and Careers?
Gabrielli Truck Sales is currently seeking to fill a position in our parts department. Base play plus commission based on sales!
Responsibilities:
- Looking parts up for inhouse jobs; mainly Mack, Volvo, and Kenworth and occasionally Isuzu or Hino
- Pulling and delivering parts to the shop
- Using the Decisiv system properly
- Prepping (many) kits for NYC trucks
- Properly handling used cores and warranty parts from the shop jobs.
Requirements:
- Computer knowledge
- Be motivated, proactive, focused and well organized
- Experience with Auto or Truck Parts
Experience Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Able to work overtime when necessary
- Ability to stand all day if necessary
- Use of a hand truck if necessary
- Climbing up ladders and stairs
- Warehouse environment
