Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, handling, and serving to ensure high standards of quality and safety
- Maintain cleanliness by performing regular cleaning duties, including sanitizing tables, utensils, and kitchen surfaces
- Buss tables efficiently to clear dishes and reset for new guests, ensuring a smooth flow of service
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting when setting up tables or moving supplies, always following safe lifting practices
- Support catering events by setting up tables, serving food, and managing cleanup afterward
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and deliver exceptional customer service
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting techniques
- Excellent communication skills for internal team coordination and guest interactions
- Experience in catering or event service is a plus, demonstrating flexibility in various settings
- Knowledge of table setting, serving techniques, and maintaining cleanliness standards
