LEAD QUALITY ENGINEER – ADHESIVES MANUFACTURING
Seabrook, NH | Full-time direct hire | 100% onsite | Local candidates only — no relocation assistance
Gabriella & Co. is partnering with the Adhesive Technologies division of a global chemical and consumer goods manufacturer to hire a Lead Quality Engineer at its Seabrook, NH plant. You will own the site quality program, lead root cause and CAPA work, maintain the ISO 9001 quality management system, and supervise a small quality team.
What you’ll own
- Site quality program and QMS maintenance, including ISO 9001 compliance and internal/external audits
- Root cause investigations, CAPA, nonconformance management and customer complaint resolution
- Quality improvement projects using Six Sigma, Lean, 8D, FMEA and SPC
- Quality documentation: procedures, work instructions, control plans and inspection records
- Cross-functional work with manufacturing, engineering, operations and supply chain to improve product and process quality
- Supplier quality and incoming material qualification
- Leadership and mentoring of quality technicians and engineers
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 6 years of quality engineering in chemical manufacturing — adhesives, sealants, coatings, polymers or specialty materials
- Experience implementing and maintaining a QMS, including ISO 9001
- Hands-on root cause, CAPA, 8D, FMEA and SPC experience
- Prior experience leading or supervising a team, even a small one
- Experience with customer complaints, nonconformances and audits
- Located within commuting distance of Seabrook, NH, or able to relocate at your own expense
