Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Assistant to support our household with caregiving to our child, household management, and family business operations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in childcare, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and social media management. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with a family to ensure their needs are met with professionalism and care.
MUST be available during holidays and comfortable being on TikTok Live & at various vendor events within the area
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive childcare for children when MISD is closed for holiday (Spring Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas break, etc)
- Assist with routines such as picking up children from school, and home cleaning
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
- Assistant with family business including inventory prep, marketing, e-commerce management
- Perform housekeeping tasks including cleaning, child's laundry, and organization of child’s belongings
- Care for pets including bring dogs to grooming, feeding, walking
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies
- Accompany children to appointments, activities, or outings as needed
- Attend vendor events on weekends
- Manage TikTok Live Sales to boost awareness and sales
Pay
Pay is based on experience. An hourly base plus commission on sales through family business when handling TikTok Live and Vendor Events
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in roles such as nannying, babysitting, daycare, or teaching is highly preferred
- Experience with marketing and social media is a plus
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
- First aid certification is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed
