Gabriel Environmental Services is seeking a full time geologist/environmental project manager. Job activities include: writing site investigation reports, assessing data, creating soil boring logs, preparing maps, and IEPA/OSFM liaison. Must have proficiency with Word and Excel. Knowledge of the IEPA Leaking Underground Storage Tank or Site Remediation Program regulations a plus. Job may also include underground storage tank removal oversight, soil and groundwater sampling, installing groundwater monitoring wells, and conducting hydrogeological investigation using slug testing and water level measurements. Qualified applicants will possess BS in Environmental Science, Geology, or other scientific field. 1-2 years experience preferred. Position requires some local travel to client sites so a valid driver's license is necessary.
