My client is growing and in need of a Lead Scientist to explore neurotransmitters, new compounds, and large molecules in the field of CNS. The perfect candidate should be a skilled specialist in pre-clinical microdialysis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create and conduct experiments using microdialysis techniques with pharmaceutical substances and genetic modifications.
- Lead and manage studies, including surgeries, dosing, and collaboration with the bioanalytical group.
- Work with leadership to develop study plans and reports, and be able to clearly explain data collection and analysis procedures.
- Coordinate with external partners on study design and data presentation.
- Maintain and troubleshoot experimental equipment.
Desired Qualifications:
- PhD in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years of proven experience in microdialysis.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Additional background in histology, pain, sleep, or surgeries.
- Strong independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication and organizational abilities.
- Experience in drug discovery, management, and programming is a plus.
