Position Overview

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage land development projects from concept through completion
- Coordinate with multiple disciplines on project scope, design, and delivery
- Prepare and oversee site layouts, grading plans, stormwater facilities, water quality BMPs, and utility design
- Support and collaborate with the business development team, including participation in proposal development
- Take a proactive role in marketing to commercial, institutional, and industrial clients
- Mentor, develop, and help grow the civil engineering team
- Provide high-quality technical design and consulting services to a diverse client base
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Collaborate with engineers in other offices to balance workload as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Washington State Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
- Minimum of 10 years of professional civil engineering experience
- Strong background in land development and multidisciplinary coordination
- Experience working with local A/E firms is a strong plus
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and related software preferred
- Experience designing public utilities is a strong plus
- Experience as a prime consultant is a plus
- Knowledge of zoning entitlements and permit processes preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Strong project management and client relationship skills required
- Ability to collaborate with team members across multiple offices
