Up to $35.00/hr Shift Differentials & Profit Sharing • Duluth, MN / Superior, WI Area • Direct-Hire
- SHIFT FLEXIBILITY: Choice of 1st Shift (flexible start windows at 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, or 8:00 AM), 2nd Shift, or 3rd Shift (up to $2.00/hr shift differential)
- EXPERIENCE: 3 years of hands-on experience programming robotic welding cells (Yaskawa/YRC1000 preferred) and heavy-gauge structural MIG welding
- SOFTWARE FOCUS: Proficiency with offline programming software (Robotmaster or MotoSim) for CAD-to-path generation and virtual cell simulation

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)
- Develop, simulate, and proof collision-free offline programs using Robotmaster or MotoSim for first-article structural weldments.
- Optimize robot parameters, fine-tuning travel speeds, torch angles, wire feed rates, and voltages to minimize cycle times and ensure flawless weld penetration.
- Serve as the frontline technical SME, troubleshooting multi-axis automation glitches, arc-tracking errors, and localized hardware/software faults.
- Perform rigorous quality checks on completed assemblies to guarantee compliance with AWS standards, engineering specs, and structural tolerances.
- Mentor cell operators, refining fixture setups, and streamlining loading/unloading sequences.
- Oversee basic preventative maintenance on robotic arms, wire feeders, and torch packages to ensure maximum cell uptime.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)
- 3 years of verifiable experience programming industrial robotic systems (Yaskawa/Motoman environments highly preferred).
- Direct proficiency with offline programming tools (Robotmaster or MotoSim) for CAD-to-path generation and virtual simulation.
- Solid foundation in industrial heavy-gauge MIG welding with expert blueprint literacy; candidates must be prepared to pass an on-site practical weld test.
- Strong analytical capability to interpret fixture designs and establish optimal fabrication sequences from scratch.
- Reliable, progressive work history demonstrating multi-year tenure and dedication to past employers.
- Strong Plus: Associate’s Degree in Robotics/Automated Manufacturing, Robotic Welding Certification, or AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) status.
