What You’ll Do
- Lead and support ISO 9001 internal audits and quality system initiatives
- Support and maintain the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS)
- Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Investigate customer complaints and lead problem-solving activities related to returned products
- Perform product and process audits throughout manufacturing operations
- Support quality inspections, testing procedures, and manufacturing documentation accuracy
- Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve process capability and product quality
- Support pilot runs and process validation activities for manufacturing operations
- Track and address recurring quality issues and manufacturing trends
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on manufacturing performance and product quality
- Assist with ISO surveillance and recertification audits
- Support quality training initiatives across manufacturing operations
- 3–5 years of quality engineering or manufacturing quality experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience leading or participating in ISO 9001 internal audits
- Internal Auditor certification strongly preferred
- Experience working within manufacturing quality systems and quality documentation processes
- Strong understanding of root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience supporting production and manufacturing operations in a hands-on environment
- Automotive, plastics, polymers, or related manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Ability to lead projects and drive accountability without direct authority
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical discipline preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a production environment
