Production Supervisor - Manufacturing

We’re recruiting for a Production Supervisor to join our client’s growing manufacturing operation in Charleston, South Carolina. This role follows a rotating 12-hour swing shift schedule and offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

• Champion a strong safety culture through training, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Lead and coordinate all production activities during your shift to meet quality, delivery, and efficiency goals.
• Train, mentor, and engage production teammates to build skills and promote teamwork.
• Manage daily shift scheduling, resource allocation, and production planning.
• Oversee changeovers, startups, and shutdowns to ensure smooth transitions.
• Investigate incidents and quality issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with plant leadership and other departments to drive process improvements and operational excellence.
• Monitor performance metrics, complete shift reports, and communicate progress to leadership.
  
  

What You Bring

• Background in manufacturing or industrial production supervision (4 years preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Willingness to work rotating night shifts (7p–7a, 3 days one week, 4 the next).
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and uphold safety and quality standards.
• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office; Oracle or similar ERP experience a plus.
