PRODUCTION MANAGER
The role involves overseeing the production of Women’s Outerwear, Activewear, and Sportswear. Key responsibilities include:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and maintain relationships with various teams such as sales, planning, design, and overseas vendors
- Supervise the production team and adjust priorities as required
- Negotiate production timelines and approval processes for each product
- Ensure adherence to the Time and Action Calendar
- Resolve issues impacting deliveries by communicating with internal and external departments
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiencies
- Address logistical concerns with internal and overseas departments
- Inform senior management of any issues affecting quality or delivery
- Collaborate with sales to manage delivery extensions
- Issue purchase orders to vendors and factories
- Handle shortages and overages by creating detailed memos
- Coordinate production issues with design, Sales, and Tech Design
- Review weekly work in progress reports from factories and vendors
- Approve shipment extensions and vessel bookings with the Import department
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 7 years experience in production and sourcing
- Familiarity with Costco’s processes and procedures
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and costing, with excellent negotiation skills
- Highly organized and effective communicator
