We’re recruiting on behalf of a client seeking a Process Safety & Compliance Coordinator to join their team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a full-time, onsite position within a PSM-covered facility, ideal for a candidate experienced in ammonia refrigeration, OSHA 1910.119, and cross-functional safety leadership.

- Support and maintain all elements of the facility’s PSM and EPA RMP programs
- Lead or assist with PHA, MOC, PSSR, incident investigations, and safety audits
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to manage and mitigate process safety risks
- Ensure all documentation and records (SOPs, P&IDs, training logs) are complete and up to date
- Deliver or coordinate safety training on PSM-related topics and regulatory standards
- Provide technical support for systems involving anhydrous ammonia (NH3) or similar regulated substances
- Track safety metrics and contribute to the site’s continuous improvement culture
- 3 years of experience in a PSM-covered facility (required)
- Working knowledge of OSHA 1910.119, EPA RMP, and ammonia system safety
- Familiarity with MOC, PHA, PSSR, and mechanical integrity practices
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and cross-functional coordination
- Certifications such as OSHA 30, RETA CIRO/CARO, or related credentials are a plus
- Salary: $70,000 – $90,000, based on experience
