Your Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the Chief of Surgery, as well as Vascular and Oncology Surgeons—functioning as a First Assist in the OR while also assisting patients pre and post-surgery in a clinical environment.
Key Duties

Act as First Assist in the operating room

Aid in pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up care

Engage in clinic duties and patient care management

Provide support for inpatient rounds as necessary

Facilitate communication with referring and primary care providers for smooth continuity of care
Required Qualifications

Active New York State Physician Assistant license
-
National Certification (NCCPA)
-
Valid DEA license
-
BLS and ACLS certifications

Proficient in clinical assessment and communication

Comfortable working in surgical and clinical settings
