Legal AI Adoption Counsel

We are seeking a Legal Tech Adoption Advisor to drive the ethical and effective utilization of innovative technology in a nationwide legal firm’s operations.

This position falls under the Client & Innovation department and collaborates closely with lawyers, team leaders, IT, training, research, marketing, and business development units. The key focus is translating technology strategies into tangible processes, practical training, and quantifiable benefits for legal professionals and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead in-person and virtual sessions on approved tech tools

• Train lawyers and teams on integrating tech into their daily tasks

• Develop useful resources such as guides, checklists, playbooks, FAQs, and internal materials

• Collaborate with leaders to pinpoint valuable tech applications

• Assist in testing, refining, and expanding tech-driven processes across projects and teams

• Assist in tool assessments, launches, vendor training, and adoption strategies

• Promote responsible tech usage, including safeguarding confidentiality and meeting client expectations

• Monitor adoption rates, feedback, usage patterns, and business outcomes

Requirements:

• J.D. from a recognized law school

• Practical experience with legal tech tools

• Background in legal innovation, knowledge management, operations, or related legal services

• Solid grasp of law firm processes, project management, staffing, and financials

• Outstanding communication, presentation, training, and facilitation abilities

• Able to establish credibility with lawyers and drive adoption without formal authority

• Client-oriented mindset with strong collaborative skills

Preferred:

• Experience in law firms or in-house legal departments

• Background in designing educational programs for professionals

• Ability to explain tech tools in simple terms for legal professionals
