We’re recruiting on behalf of a global law firm seeking an Associate Attorney to support its expanding Energy, Environmental & Infrastructure practice. This role can sit in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver/Boulder, New York, San Francisco, St. Louis, or Washington, D.C., with a hybrid schedule. Ideal candidates bring experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or complex transactional matters.

You’ll join a nationally recognized team advising clients across the renewable energy, natural resources, and infrastructure sectors. This position offers hands-on involvement in sophisticated commercial and transactional work, including M&A, joint ventures, project development, and large-scale energy deals.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and support transactions involving energy, natural resources, and infrastructure projects.
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements such as PPAs, O&M, EPC/build-transfer, procurement, and related contracts.
- Guide clients through deal structures, regulatory considerations, and risk assessments for renewable energy projects.
- Partner with internal teams on financing, development, and transactional documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage client communications and ensure smooth execution of key deliverables.
- Hands-on experience handling energy, project development, or commercial transactions within a law firm or corporate legal environment.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage complex matters and communicate effectively with clients.
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Background in energy, renewables, infrastructure, or natural resources is essential.
- Highly competitive compensation typically between $215,000 and $290,000, depending on location and experience.
