This leadership role will oversee product strategy, commercialization, and portfolio performance for a suite of scientific instruments and laboratory software platforms. The Director will serve as the voice of the customer while driving product innovation, revenue growth, and successful global product launches.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Product Leadership
- Define long-term product strategy and roadmap for life sciences instruments and associated software platforms
- Own product line P&L with accountability for revenue, margin, and growth targets
- Lead voice-of-customer initiatives, market analysis, and competitive intelligence
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product management team
- Partner with R&D and engineering teams to translate market needs into product requirements
- Guide development of integrated hardware and software platforms for scientific instrumentation
- Support technical roadmap development including connectivity, cybersecurity, and data workflows
- Contribute expertise in areas such as optical detection systems, fluidics, or laboratory automation
- Develop product positioning, pricing strategy, and go-to-market plans
- Lead global product launches and support sales enablement initiatives
- Collaborate with commercial teams to strengthen customer engagement and adoption
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and quality standards including FDA, CE, and ISO 13485
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related technical field (advanced degree preferred)
- Extensive product management experience within life sciences instrumentation, analytical instruments, or laboratory technology platforms
- Track record of owning product line P&L and delivering successful product launches
- Leadership experience managing and developing product management teams
- Strong understanding of laboratory software, data workflows, and research instrumentation markets
- Strategic planning, financial modeling, and cross-functional leadership skills
- Ability to travel approximately 20–25%
