Join a senior-level service team handling preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for a variety of HVAC systems. You’ll work on large-tonnage air-cooled chillers, low-pressure boilers, rooftop units (5–20 tons), and some commercial refrigeration (walk-in coolers, freezers). This position offers steady work, a supportive team culture, and strong compensation.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical HVAC issues
- Perform preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial systems
- Assist with major component replacements
- Apply basic automation controls knowledge to system operation
- Operate safely and follow company procedures
- Complete a ride-along orientation before being assigned a company van
- Hands-on experience with commercial HVAC service and repair
- EPA Type I & II certification (Universal preferred)
- Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with tools, excellent communication skills, and customer focus
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass background/drug screening
- Comfortable with physical work and varying weather conditions
- VRF experience and NATE/HVAC Excellence certifications are a plus
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, optional overtime
- $35–$50/hour, based on experience
