CNC Applications Engineering Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the CNC Applications Engineering team.
• Develop team members and share machining expertise.
• Manage team workload, customer projects, and installations.
• Lead complex applications projects and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Optimize CNC machining processes and support machine installations.
• Collaborate with customers and provide technical support during evaluations.
• Evaluate machine configurations and oversee customer training.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
• Set and enhance applications engineering standards and workflows.
• Identify opportunities to improve machine performance and customer productivity.
• Stay updated on CNC technology and advanced machining strategies.

Requirements:

• Experience with CNC metal-cutting equipment.
• Background in CNC Engineering or similar role.
• Proficient in CNC programming, machining processes, and tooling.
• Hands-on experience with multi-axis CNC machining.
• Familiarity with major CNC control platforms.
• Experience with CAM software and offline programming.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex machining challenges.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience mentoring or providing technical leadership.
• Experience in high-precision machining and willingness to travel.
