Behavioral Health Clinician

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician to join our clients clinical team. This position provides a full range of behavioral health services, including assessment, treatment planning, individual therapy, and group therapy.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary clinical team while providing high-quality behavioral health services in a professional healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy.
• Conduct behavioral health intakes and complete clinical assessments as indicated.
• Maintain an active caseload while meeting established productivity standards.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
• Make appropriate referrals and coordinate care with other providers and agencies involved in treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Demonstrate knowledge and competency in behavioral health diagnosis, assessment, and treatment.
• Apply appropriate clinical knowledge and skills related to individual, group, and family systems.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Provide services consistent with established clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a clinical environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or a related behavioral health discipline.
• 1–5 years of experience.
• Connecticut independent clinical licensure, such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent.
• Knowledge and competency in behavioral health diagnosis, assessment, and treatment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a clinical environment.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
