Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our outdoor maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, landscaping, and outdoor project work, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality landscape and lawn care services. This role involves working in various weather conditions and performing a wide range of landscaping tasks to enhance the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance, including trimming and planting
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators safely and efficiently
- Install and maintain irrigation systems, hardscape features, and garden beds
- Conduct tree removal as needed
- Assist with construction projects related to landscape design and installation
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Perform routine inspections and basic repairs on landscaping equipment to ensure optimal operation
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining landscaping machinery
- Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment including excavators
- Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately while working independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills for coordinating tasks with team members and clients
