Warehouse Supervisor

Gaatu, Inc., is an e-commerce auto parts distributor, is looking for a responsible, efficient individual with stellar leadership skills to manage warehouse distribution and 3PL. It is a full-time position located in Bolingbrook, IL.

Sunday - Thursday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM – occasional OT and weekend work.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, distribution, supervising staff, and securing the warehouse.
• Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews.
• Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
• Resolve problems and identify warehouse system improvements.
• Maintain proper operational adherence to company’s SOP’s policies.
• Plan future capacity requirements.
• Resolve discrepancies regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Logistics; Managing daily routes/schedules of shipments and deliveries.
• Ensure production and quality requirements are met according to company standards.
• Produce and maintain regular reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• KPI Info, Employee Productivity, Inventory Analysis, etc.
• Manage and plan reduction on daily warehouse material and operational cost.
• Maintain and ensure high standards of safety throughout operations.
• Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets and daily shipping percentages are met.
• Train staff and monitor their performance and progress.
• Deliver, fulfill objectives and directions from upper management.
• Keep equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Supervise all employees of the warehouse and is responsible for the performance management.
• Secure warehouse by turning alarms on; test systems.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of warehousing key performance indicators (KPIs), WMS systems.
• Skills in implementing 5S.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to lead, manage and motivate staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic.
• OSHA training requirements experience is a plus.
• Computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, MS Office.

Education and Experience:

• High school Diploma/GED is required.
• Shipping & receiving: 4 years is a plus.
• Warehouse Supervision: 5 years is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
