Local CDL A Truck driver

We are currently hiring CDL-A drivers with 3 months of experience for a local position out of Laredo, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers who want to stay close to home, enjoy daily home time, and spend more quality time with their families while maintaining a stable and consistent income.

Position Overview

• Location: Laredo, TX

• Type: Local – Home Daily

• Schedule: Night shift (Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday)

• Weekend Work: Required as needed

• Home Time: Daily 2 consecutive days off weekly

• Operation: Local in/out of rail (rail yard work involved)

Pay & Compensation

• Average Weekly Pay:  $1,200

• Mileage Pay (based on experience):

  • 6–24 months: $0.37 CPM

  • 24–36 months: $0.38 CPM

  • 36–48 months: $0.39 CPM

  • 48–60 months: $0.41 CPM

  • 60 months: $0.43 CPM

• Additional Pay:

  • Night shift: $0.06 CPM

  • Weekend: $0.12 CPM

  • $40 extra per customer-paid load

• Miles per week: ~1,000 miles

Freight & Work Details

• Mix of:

  • Live load / live unload

  • Preload

  • Drop & hook

• No short haul pay

• Working with rail and rail equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 3 months CDL-A experience

• Must be comfortable working night shifts and weekends

• Must live within 25 miles of Laredo, TX (ZIP 78210 area)
