This role develops, maintains, and leads the quality assurance system to ensure all products from suppliers meet AAR and end-user specifications, supporting continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory standards. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join the team. This role develops, maintains, and leads the quality assurance system to ensure all products from suppliers meet AAR and end-user specifications, supporting continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory standards. This position is based in Medley, FL.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the quality assurance program to ensure purchased materials and final products conform to standards
- Develop and manage a supplier quality index to retain high-quality vendors and chair the Supplier Review Board
- Maintain and administer the Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) system
- Prepare for and lead internal and external ISO 9000, NADCAP, and related audits; perform audits at AAR facilities
- Collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes
- Review departmental technical problems and recommend procedural changes to enhance quality
- Ensure proper processing of incoming transfers and Return Material Requests (RMRs)
- Support training and development of Quality Control inspectors and promote continuous improvement initiatives
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities including hiring, training, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Prepare required quality reports and maintain compliance with all company and regulatory policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of quality assurance experience, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing
- Formal Quality Assurance certification preferred (e.g., ASQ, ISO)
- Exposure to warehouse operations required
- FAA A&P License required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
