Employment Type: Part time Shift: Description: PRN technologist to cover mammography and bone density. Mammography Technologist, PRN with Good Samaritan Hospital in Greensboro, GA Position Purpose: Mammography Technologist PRN position with Good Samaritan Hospital in Greensboro, GA What you will do: Perform ordered mammography examinations in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the radiologists. Maintains technical competency through continued education. Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems and calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members. Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality. Enters patient’s questionnaire, release form, and all other paperwork into Epic system. What you will need: Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Advanced registry in mammography required. Continuing education credits in Mammography required. Education: Graduate of formal radiographic technology training in an AMA-approved school Experience: Two years mammography experience preferred.
