Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and clinically knowledgeable Scheduler to support our Interventional Radiology department. This part-time role is ideal for candidates with a background as an RN, LPN, or EMT who can effectively review clinical documentation and coordinate patient scheduling. Review incoming referrals and clinical documentation to determine appropriate scheduling needs. Coordinate and schedule interventional radiology procedures in collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and other departments. Communicate with patients regarding appointment details, preparation instructions, and follow-up requirements. Ensure accurate documentation and timely updates in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Assist with verifying insurance and authorization requirements as need Licensure/Certification/Registration: active licensure in one of the followings is preferred - RN, LPN, EMT; BLS; ACLS . Education: Associates degree C: Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in related field. Preferred experience in radiology or other procedural areas. Familiarity with interventional radiology procedures and other medical terminology. Special Qualifications: Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in scheduling systems (EPIC preferred). Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
