Strategically deployed in high-traffic locations including universities, transit hubs, stadiums, hospitals, office buildings, and community spaces, we manage every aspect of daily operations end-to-end.
Now actively expanding across Chicago.
We are currently seeking an Operations Specialist/Technician to perform on-site inspection, servicing, and maintenance of automated coffee and beverage machines, ensuring reliable daily operation and prompt response to service needs.
Full training is provided and junior technicians with a strong work attitude are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site inspection, servicing, and maintenance of automated Beverage Machines to ensure continuous daily operation
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation-related equipment issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime
- Replace defective parts and components and adjust equipment according to manufacturer specifications and operational requirements
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and routine servicing to maintain equipment reliability and operational efficiency
- Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with applicable health, safety, and food sanitation standards
- Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and equipment logs
- Coordinate with operations staff to schedule maintenance activities and respond promptly to urgent service requests
- Provide on-the-job technical guidance and assistance to junior technicians when required
- Train new employees on basic equipment operation, safe work practices, and routine maintenance procedures
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in servicing, maintaining, or repairing automated, commercial, or food-related equipment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with basic electrical knowledge relevant to equipment servicing
- Ability to independently perform equipment repairs, component replacement, and routine maintenance
- Food Safety Certificate is required
- Ability to work independently and manage service priorities effectively
Additional Information
- This position is responsible for ensuring the daily operational readiness of approximately 10-15 automated machines
- Training and technical support for junior technicians are integral components of this role
- Field-based role with regular on-site service locations
