These assignments vary in length and complexity, but are generally not permanentMust be able to meet and exceed customer expectations by assuring on-schedule, high quality deliverablesEvaluates manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operatorsDevelops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements modifying and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendorsImproves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layoutAssures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished-product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processesProvides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requestsMaintains product and company reputation by complying with governmental regulationsKeeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special serviceMaintains product and process data base by writing computer programs, entering dataRequirementsEducation and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.
