G.A. Rich & Sons is a family-owned company providing Commercial Plumbing, Process Piping, Site Utilities and Municipal Service throughout Illinois. We are seeking a full-time BIM Coordinator on site at our Deer Creek office.

Essential Functions:
- Set up drawing files and manage standards and criteria
- Read, interpret, and develop process flow diagrams, mechanical semantics, piping plans, and instrumentation diagrams for plumbing, process systems, and mechanical systems and translate them into coordinated 3D plans using BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks
- Electronic filing, organizing, and keeping all drawings and all other forms of paperwork that you may receive or produce up to date
- Effectively organize multiple tasks given to you by their priority and duration to satisfactorily complete and meet deadlines, implementing these processes within the entire BIM department
- Assist in the development of a spatially coordinated 3D Building Information Model as necessary
- Implement and adhere to company BIM and drafting presentation standards developed by the company
- Assist in the production of fabrication by producing buildable field documents with details
- Attend coordination meetings and assist with the coordination process by troubleshooting and solving problems
- Deliver and pick up drawings
- Assist project managers as requested
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required, degree from recognized CAD training facility preferred
- Excellent math skills
- Ability to read blueprints
- Proficiency with Trimble based products such as 3D Scanners, Robotic Total Station, Trimble Field Link and Business Center
- Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP, Revit, and Naviswork
- Conducts oneself in a professional manner with responsibility, integrity, accountability and excellence
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative; always finds a way to be productive, takes pride in their work
- Works well as a team member; places the success of the team above self interest
- Meticulous attention to detail required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
