Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities that promote childhood development and learning.
- Support children with their individual needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements, ensuring an inclusive environment.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and engagement.
- Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Provide basic caregiving duties such as diapering, feeding, and comforting children as needed.
- Support behavior management strategies by encouraging positive interactions and guiding children through social skills development.
- Administer first aid when necessary and follow safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all children in your care.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus.
- Classroom management skills to effectively support both group activities and individual attention.
- Familiarity with childcare safety procedures, including basic first aid certification.
- Demonstrated ability to engage children through nurturing caregiving, teaching, and behavior management techniques.
