We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Delivery Driver and Material Handler to join our team. This role involves delivering products to customers, handling materials, and ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle for route deliveries
- Load and unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques
- Deliver goods to customers and/or jobsites efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
- Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and stock replenishment
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Handle heavy lifting and moving of items during loading and unloading processes
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations
Skills
- Previous delivery driver experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Warehouse experience including use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently
- Manually load and unload insulation material on and off a box truck and deliver to job sites
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Ability to operate a box truck or similar vehicle with manual transmission if required
- Familiarity with load & unload procedures, route planning, and time management skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (PERSON driver preferred)
This position is ideal for individuals seeking part-time work that combines driving, warehouse tasks, and customer interaction in a dynamic environment. Must have early morning availability. 6am - noon
