Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Landscape Technician to join our landscape design and construction crew. This role supports the installation of outdoor spaces from the ground up and involves physical, hands-on work in residential environments. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and works well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Landscape Technician, you will assist with a variety of landscape construction tasks, including but not limited to:
- Dig trenches for irrigation, drainage, and hardscape installations
- Install irrigation systems, including pipe, valves, and sprinklers
- Frame and prepare forms for concrete pours
- Lay pavers and assist with hardscape installation
- Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscape materials
- Perform demolition of existing landscape features
- Assist with minor grading and site preparation
- Load trailers with soil, debris, and materials and haul away dirt
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times
- Follow instructions from crew leads and supervisors
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in landscaping, construction, or irrigation preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, digging, and working on your feet for extended periods
- Familiarity with basic landscape tools and equipment
- Ability to follow directions and work efficiently as part of a crew
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Masonry experience is a plus
- Valid drier's license is a plus
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, and digging
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Use of power tools and construction materials
