We are seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our restoration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently on a variety of restoration and repair projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform skilled carpentry work including framing, finishing, and trim installation
- Repair and restore structures damaged by water, fire, or other causes
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Work collaboratively with project managers and crew members to meet deadlines
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and materials properly
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter (restoration experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to take accurate measurements and follow specifications
- Physical stamina and ability to lift/move materials as required
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
