Inventory Control Coordinator

The Inventory Control Coordinator supports the Inventory Analyst and Inventory Manager in maintaining accurate and efficient inventory operations. This role is responsible for coordinating cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring smooth inventory transactions across departments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in cross-functional communication, contributing to inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

As An Inventory Control Coordinator You Will

• Manage the JD Edwards ERP system transactions of materials, including adjustments, transfers, reclasses and returns through the administration of the inventory transaction forms.
• Monitor and manage the inventory transaction form inbox.
• Support coordination and execution of daily and ad hoc cycle counts in JDE to maintain inventory accuracy across the facility.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies; document findings and support corrective actions.
• Manage the physical movement and JD Edwards ERP transactions of materials, including adjustments, transfers, and returns.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, Finance, Receiving and Shipping teams to resolve issues.
• Support the implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices to reduce waste and improve inventory turnover.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards for inventory handling and documentation.
• Provide training and support floor staff on inventory procedures as needed.
• Assist in maintaining and improving ERP system data integrity related to inventory
• Identify inefficiencies in inventory processes and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean inventory practices
  
  

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

• A High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, business, or related field preferred.
• 2 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with JD Edwards preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends based on production or inventory needs.
  
  

Ideally You Will Also Have

• Knowledge of inventory transactions (adjustments, scrap, backflushing, WIP movement).
• An understanding of manufacturing processes, especially in the power generation or electrical components industry.
• Experience supporting quality audits and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  
  

The Physical Demands/Working Conditions Of The Role Are

• Work is performed in both an office and manufacturing floor environment.
• May involve standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs).
• Use of safety equipment and adherence to safety protocols is required.
  
  

What We Offer You

Typical pay is $46,945 – 57,503 annually.
