Intern - Product Management
Primary/Essential Responsibilities
G&W Electric’s Internship Program gives students the opportunity to gain practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience while working for a global organization and industry leader. Interns are challenged to demonstrate their strengths and apply their knowledge to help us achieve our business strategy. Our goal is that students will take what they’ve learned and apply it to their future career, perhaps a long prosperous career with G&W Electric.

Interns are well compensated with a competitive salary. Compensation is based on the number of years that you have completed toward your undergraduate/graduate degree or Ph.D. Housing is also available if needed.

Intern - Product Management
Primary/Essential Responsibilities
- Increase product line revenue and margin:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, pricing plans, and go-to-market initiatives for the product line
- Enhance product line competitiveness
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and differentiation
- Become the technical expert for the product line
- Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team, customers, and other departments regarding the product line
- Contribute to the success of new product development:
- Participate in the entire NPD (New Product Development) process, including product definition, development launch and post-launch support
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Major
- Sophomore, or Junior (preferred)
- Power Industry experience is a plus
- Interest in Product Management
- Strong Communication skills
