Position Summary
G&W Electric’s Internship Program gives students the opportunity to gain practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience while working for a global organization and industry leader. Interns are challenged to demonstrate their strengths and apply their knowledge to help us achieve our business strategy. Our goal is that students will take what they’ve learned and apply it to their future career, perhaps a long prosperous career with G&W Electric.

Interns are well compensated with a competitive salary. Compensation is based on the number of years that you have completed toward your undergraduate/graduate degree or Ph.D. Housing is also available if needed.

Intern - Cybersecurity
Position Summary
- Monitor security systems and assist in responding to potential threats and incidents.
- Analyze security logs and reports to identify suspicious activity; escalate issues as appropriate.
- Support investigations into security incidents and help compile breach documentation.
- Assist in updating and maintaining cybersecurity policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Research emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to inform team strategy.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security controls into applications and infrastructure.
- Prepare reports on security exposures, compliance gaps, and remediation efforts.
- Assist in resolving identified vulnerabilities and tracking remediation progress
- Pursuing bachelor's or master's in a related discipline.
- Prior experience with Information Technology and Operational Technology
