What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Mill Machinist position at G.V.Industries?
We are a precision CNC machine shop looking for a motivated Machinist to join our team. We offer competitive pay, great benefits, and plenty of room for advancement.Responsibilities-Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes (Haas equipment experience preferred).Perform machining operations.Read and interpret blueprints (GD&T knowledge required).Load and run programs, monitor displays, and adjust as needed.Change cutting tools, adjust setups, and measure parts to ensure conformance.Use precision inspection tools: calipers, micrometers, gage pins, and dial indicators.Troubleshoot and communicate program/machine issues to supervisors/programmers.May perform limited conventional machining.Follow all shop safety rules and keep work areas clean.Must be willing and able to work overtime when needed.Accurately and consistently interact with our ERP system.
